Wolves are back in the crosshairs again....

As many of you know, today the federal protections that were afforded to gray wolves in the Northern Rockies under the Endangered Species Act were lifted, essentially meaning that the population (including the unkonwn number of new pups born this spring) could be reduced by more than half of what it is today. We at Defenders are doing everything we can to make sure that wolves are protected in the region; fighting the bad delisting rule in the courts, communicating with the states, alerting the media and mobilizing grassroots action.
