Legal Victory For Wolves

Defenders of Wildlife won a huge legal victory for wolves last week!  Federal District Judge Donald Molloy of Montana issued a preliminary injunction that restores federal Endangered Species act protections to wolves in the Northern Rockies. This ruling is an important first step that will save the lives of hundreds of wolves during the months to come when our challenge to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's delisting decision is heard by the court.  We have much work left to do, but we can all breathe a little bit easier thanks to this decision.
